The Woodland Doll
A mourning wave birthed The Woodland Doll, breathing like waves on sand hiding pearls. Woodland says hiding pearls under the sand will change them from beige to blush. She says a dirty pink dress is torment and lights a cigar. Chant “Please be Good” and she’ll try. Woodland’s a sweet, mad doll, foreign calm, and master tart. She’s so good at making believe that you believe she haunts the tepid sounds of water. The Woodland Doll writes for you. Touch her red lipstick lips.
