It has be such a pleasure to write about my feelings of uncertainty and obsession in Barbie and La Nouvelle Vague for Bad at Sports. I began this essay thinking I knew it "all," or at least "most" of what I needed to know. It turns out there was so very much to learn. And, along the way, I was able to get close to myself.
