Now that I've gotten that out of the way... Friday was a total blast. The crowd was rowdy, and the scene was awesome. And in the end, we really are bringing poetry to the people. And this Saturday I'm apart of the Fifth Annual Chicago Calling Arts Festival. I'll be reading at the Logan Square Library at 1p.m. It's a banned books event, one of the many happening around Chicago this week.
As Milan Fashion Week comes to a close and the shows in Paris begin, I have to say I'm running to the make-up counter this weekend. I'm in love. And it's bright and sometimes dewy, but mostly matte. And I need to replenish. I have been wearing MAC's lipstick Ruby Woo for awhile. So, I was utterly excited to learn that at the Jonathan Sunders show this shade was all over the runway. And it was lovely and fresh and all a girl really needs for her journées. Take a gander....
