It's been a constant party since the ACM50 pre-release party last month. Which I must say was a complete blast and got glowing response. Take a gander at CJ Laity's review! Anyhow, I'm bordering on pretty tired. I think I may need a vacation from my summer. I’ve been dancing, developing, mingling, writing, and the fun doesn’t seem to be coming to an end. Especially since we have a Revolving Door reading this Wednesday (featuring Roger Bonair), and getting ready for the fall semester and other September planning: the Poetry Brothel—Chicago style, The Rec Room reading, etc. And while I’m nearly on empty, I’m taking a second to bask in how far I’ve come in a year. I’m reflecting on how many lovely, brilliant opportunities have crossed my path. Yes, I am a lucky girl, and a happy one at that. So, let’s keep the party summer rolling with Jean-Luc Ponty's “King Kong.”
